PKU Photosynthesis Pavilion places shared student space at the meeting point of campus life and landscape. Its low, elongated form maintains a close relationship with the surrounding green space, giving study, discussion and meetings a setting connected to nature.

A broad roof provides continuous shelter, while glazing and an exposed frame keep the interior visually open. Columns and diagonal members establish a spatial rhythm, and roof glazing carries light deeper into the building. Covered edges connect activity inside with the lawn, extending the common areas beyond enclosed rooms.

Simple tables, benches and a blackboard support different forms of exchange. The pavilion gives shared space value through opportunities to pause, discuss and remain close to the landscape, making everyday campus activity its central subject.
